About Kevin Ward:

Kevin took his first LabVIEW programming course in 1993 while working as a contractor at Sandia National Labs.  His first project was to develop a mobile Data Acquisition system that would be used to field data while on joint collaboration with Sandia and Russian Pulse Power scientists at a Russian facility near Moscow.  After that he was ‘hooked’ on LabVIEW.

From 1996 to 2004, Kevin worked for a local National Instruments Alliance Partner in the Albuquerque area, gaining experience with a wide variety of software and hardware integration projects.  He also became the first certified LabVIEW instructor in the Albuquerque area, teaching LabVIEW and other courses for over five years and in three states.

In 2006, while again working for a local contractor to Sandia National Labs, Kevin decided to branch out and start his own company specializing in automated test and process control.  As National Instruments hardware and software products gained foothold with the national labs, the need for integration services expanded rapidly, making it an ideal time to start GenTek Systems.

Today, GenTek Systems continues to provide key applications in Automated Test, Process Control and Embedded Control systems for various customers at Sandia Labs and other local businesses.
